We are a haven for wildlifeAt Brackenwood we believe in embracing our local environment which is a delightful shallow valley in the heart of Abbots Leigh. With fields and woodland on our door step we are a haven for wildlife.
We have bee hives in our fields at the back of the centre and wildlife abounds on site. There are newts, frogs, toads, slow worms, grass snakes and even the odd Adder has been seen on our compost heap!

When the flowers and trees are in blossom butterflies and bees abound and in spring nesting birds can be found all across our site.
Birdlife is all around with our small friendly Robins and Wrens helping us out with the bugs and families of blue tits erupting in sheds. Larger birds like green and spotted woodpeckers can be heard and seen in the trees and buzzards hover overhead looking for prey.
